What is radio shuttle rack system?
Radio shuttle racking systems are a form of ultra-high density storage. As with drive-in racking, such a system can reach several pallets high, but unlike the latter, it can also go 30 to 60 meters deep (instead of only 20 meters). Since operators can load and unload pallets without having to travel inside the rack, the aisle space requirements are significantly reduced and the overall installation is more stable.
It is applicable to high density storage and is similar in construction to the drives in racking systems used in the cold storage, food and beverage industries and other low level SKUs. it helps you maximize storage utilization and simplifies loading and unloading of goods.

Optimizing Storage Capacity
The radio shuttle racks are the perfect solution for high density storage. Racks can be as long as 60 meters deep, which is more than any conventional form of rack. For example, with driving in a rack, the lanes are typically no more than 20 meters deep because forklift drivers must pull into the aisle and it can be challenging for a person to drive very deep in a confined space.
More efficient loading and unloading
Forklift operators are able to significantly reduce the amount of driving required to retrieve or store pallets. In addition, they no longer have to maneuver the vehicle in very tight spaces that would otherwise take up more time.
Improved stability and safety
Since the operators of the forklifts do not enter the racking system, they are no longer exposed to any significant risks. The system itself is stronger and safer because the structure does not require aisle space.
FILO and FIFO Inventory Management
Radio shuttle racks can be organized to meet both FILO and FIFO requirements. For the latter, pallets can be accessed at both ends of each lane.
